Year end....

Well, it's mid December and winter is here. It'll have to wait until spring for boat work again. A trip to the Sunnyland boat show in Tavares, FL is planned for the end of March. Lots of nice boats = kick in the rear to get started again on my own again.

Happy New Year!

Hello Bjorn,

My name is Aurélien and I am reading you from FRANCE.

First, congratulation for the restoration and the website. It is very interesting!

I am also restoring a wooden boat ARCANGELI SUPER JOLLY OUTBOARD built in the sixties but the design of the hull seems to me easier than your Chris Craft. (It is the beginning of the restoration).

As I have read, we have the same favourite author DANENBERG...hahaha.

Good luck for the rest of the renovation and I will follow the Chris craft renovation with lots of interests!!!

Have a good day

Bye

Aurélien

Thanks for the comments. I think Danenberg's book is good for the beginner restorer. Many profesional boat restorers throw you out their doors if you only mention the word Danenberg. If it is the loss of business or the half done projects they have to straighten out, I don't know.

Bjorn;

It looks like you are doing very nice work! It's great to see your project coming along. Can't wait to see those cover boards on. Do you have that material yet??

Yes, I got the 16/4 last spring. ML Condon got a shipment in. Can't make any mistakes while cutting though....
